Sacramento city college - photography degree program (a.a. and certificate programs)

Okay, so this is not exactly "gear" but I wanted to include it in this section to give them a huge shout out for contributing to my growth and development. Sacramento City College's photography department definitely competes if not exceeds the curriculums from major art schools (in my opinion) and they use only the best equipment this industry offers. For more information on their degree programs, visit their website

Nikon d800

I LOVE this camera. It produces really awesome high-dynamic range imagery. Most of my landscape and travel images were shot with this bad boy!! The whopping 36 megapixel sensor allows me to not only print big but also crop tighter without loss of quality in post-production.

Canon 5d mark ii

My go-to camera when shooting in studio and portrait work. If you're asking why I shoot both Canon and Nikon, it's because when the 5d Mark II came out, it was the only video/stills dslr in its class so I had to get my hands on one. Nikon had released the D700 which didn't have video capability. Ultimately, I'm a gear head and just want everrrythiiiinngg!!
